Civic Community

The Bolivian Civic Community (Comunidad Ciudadana) is a centrist political coalition in Bolivia, formed as an alliance of various political parties and civic groups. It emerged as a significant force in Bolivian politics in the lead-up to the 2019 general elections. The coalition was established with the aim of offering a democratic and inclusive alternative to the ruling Movement for Socialism (MAS) party, which had dominated Bolivian politics for many years under the leadership of Evo Morales.

The Civic Community is characterized by its commitment to democracy, the rule of law, and…   the protection of human rights. It advocates for a pluralistic society where different voices and perspectives are respected and included in the political process. The coalition emphasizes the importance of transparency and accountability in government, seeking to combat corruption and promote efficient governance that serves the interests of all Bolivians.

Economically, the Civic Community supports policies that encourage sustainable development, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while also emphasizing the need for social programs that can reduce inequality and poverty. It believes in a balanced approach that fosters economic growth without sacrificing social progress or environmental protection.
